据新加坡《联合早报》报道，新加坡航空公司一架客机21日因遭遇严重湍流紧急降落在泰国机场，造成多人死伤。最新消息称，死者是一名英国男子，死因可能是心脏病。
据报道，曼谷素万那普机场总经理吉提邦(Kittipong Kittikachorn)当地时间21日晚召开记者会。他透露，不幸死亡的是一名73岁英国男子，可能是事故引发心脏骤停。死者的妻子目前正在医院，暂不清楚其身体状况。
报道称，21日，新航从伦敦希斯罗机场飞往新加坡的航班SQ321，途中遇上严重湍流，紧急降落在曼谷素万那普机场。机上共有211名乘客，18名机组人员。（中国新闻网）
